Keen to find out about our amazing Australian animals? Want to explore a range of different habitats, homes and shelters? Learning about body coverings or animal life cycles? In this flexible session, you can choose your focus: investigate the various features and body coverings of animals, their incredible habitats or their different life cycles. 

This program provides the students opportunities to get up close and discover our native wildlife. Feel the slimy skin of a frog; encounter inquisitive animals who began life in a pouch; or explore the forests, creeks and deserts of the Australian landscape to find out who calls them home.  

Please note: Aussie Creature Features provides the option of focusing primarily on animal habitats and will cover a similar range of material and activities to that found in the program, Homes and Shelters (which is no longer offered at Healesville Sanctuary). Just let our bookings officer and the education team know that your focus is on habitats.
