Melbourne Zoo's Asian elephants all love to paint, with Bong Su and Mek Kapah our most experienced artists. This unforgettable behind-the-scenes experience allows you to meet one of our elephants, select your favourite colours, and watch the elephant create your own personal masterpiece. Take home your personalised elephant painting as a memento of this truly unique experience. Additional paintings are also available in the Zoo shops. All proceeds benefit elephant conservation in the wild.

Have you ever wondered just what it takes to look after an animal weighing more than several cars? Have you pondered on what an elephant eats, where it sleeps, or what they do for fun?

Ele Antics is designed to satisfy all your elephant themed curiosities while including you in our elephant enrichment program. You will embark on a behind the scenes tour of our elephant facility, meet the people that care for our largest residents, and be given the opportunity for fun and games with one of Melbourne Zoo's elephants.

So if you have ever wanted to kick a ball around with an elephant, assist them with their artistic endeavours, or just stand beside one and say hello, join us for this unique experience.
