Melbourne Zoo is called home by a vast array of different animals, and more than one third of these critters can be found under the roof of our Reptile House.

With representatives from every continent on the globe (with the exception of Antarctica- where there are no reptiles), this is your chance to come to grips with the incredible diversity present in reptile kingdom.

Come face to face with the remarkable and the astounding: endangered castaways, colour changing chameleons, geckos that undress, frogs that advertise, heat vision snakes, and the worlds longest living vertebrate.

Step in the Reptile house and travel back to the age of the dinosaurs.
